Orkut is an internet social network run by Google. It claims to be designed to help users meet new friends and maintain existing relationships. Most of us are using Orkut to chat with friends and near ones. But this site is seen banned from many schools, colleges and many IT firms. So BHAISAAB thought of helping his near ones by providing some useful information he came accross recently in solving this issue.
Here are some

Support 2:Hack Your Broadband Connection and Increase Speed.

Basically after getting to the hidden config settings you set the browser to request more data that it usually does.

Step 1:

Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining n
etwork.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

Step 2:

Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests " to some number like 30.
This means it will make 30 requests at once.

Step 3:

Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

Thats All... Its Simple... Give it a try... And Feel the difference... Do Comment BHAISAAB about it.

Bhaisaab's Support Wing:Increase Your Band-Width and Net Speed By 20%.

Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc.Bhaisaab thought it will be helpful for his fellows if they get back and that 20% of their net speed by some simple steps. So he used all his MCSE course knoledge and provided this support section.

To get it back:

1.Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes. This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy then Computer Configuration then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

2.Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.

3.So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.

Thats All... Its Simple... Give it a try... And Feel the difference... Dont forget to Comment BHAISAAB about it.
